Sign-ups for a girls basketball camp are now open in Ballard. Ballard High School girls basketball coach Sara Wetstone tells us the camp runs from July 15 – 18, and will be taught by the BHS coaching staff. The camp is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, and you can register online.
Wetstone also tells us that the BHS varsity and JV teams just returned from the Oregon State Team Camp, where they won the championship over 20 other Washington and Oregon teams. Ballard senior Nancy MacGeorge and Karsten Bontrager, a junior, earned all-camp honors.
