The paving project on the south shoulder of Shilshole Ave NW was completed way ahead of schedule, as crews finished the work yesterday. They originally gave themselves a week to grind and repave the existing asphalt, but finished the work in one day. The work was done to prepare for a detour around the Ballard Siphon Replacement Project site when it extends into Shilshole Ave NW later this summer.
