Free acupuncture treatments will be available this Saturday, August 3, for new patients at Purple Dragon Healing Arts (7324 15th Ave NW) between 1:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.
“This is a great way for people to try acupuncture for the first time or for people who are familiar with private acupuncture to try acupuncture in a community setting,” says licensed acupuncturist Linda Phelps, who runs Purple Dragon Healing Arts.
In community acupuncture (CA) clinics, several people are treated in one large room. Patients remain fully dressed and get comfortable in reclining chairs. The treatments are given in a casual setting, which is more like a living room than a medical clinic.
