This Saturday, Sept. 7, the Ballard Greenways group is celebrating the completion of the greenways. They’ll be gathering on NW 58th St. between 20th and 22nd Ave NW from 2 to 5 p.m. There will be a bike rodeo, walking tours of the greenway, a sidewalk piano, free smoothies, and other activities. Mayor Mike McGinn will be at the event at 3 p.m. for the official ribbon cutting.
In addition to the activities and ribbon cutting, Kidical Mass will lead a family bike to the event from the Ballard Library, departing at 1 p.m. To learn more or to RSVP, click here for the Facebook page about the event.
