On Friday, Sept. 20, Mike’s Chili Parlor will host a fundraiser for the Ballard High School drama department. “Come to Mike’s Chili Parlor anytime between 3 p.m. and closing, and enjoy some grubbin’ chili, cold drinks, and the company of other great people as you support the Ballard High School drama students who performed at the Fringe Festival in Scotland this past summer,” the organizers write.
Mike’s Chili Parlor will donate a portion of sales to the BHS drama, and there will be a raffle for an overnight stay at Ballard Hotel and other prizes.
Another chance to support the BHS drama department will be on Oct. 1, with the “Take Chances” tour, featuring actor/singer Derik Nelson from the popular TV series Glee. Find out how to get tickets and learn more here.
