The Salish Sea Trading Cooperative is planning a community meeting for Monday, Sept. 23 for a mid-season check-in. The Ballard-based program is designed to deliver locally produced goods around the Puget Sound.
The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the Ballard Library. According to Kathy Pelish with the cooperative, the main topic at the meeting will be to discuss plans to build a scow for sail transport (click here for an example from Vermont Sail Freight).
