- King County Offering Free Immunizations at Group Health Rainier (5316 Rainier Ave S) from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. The Group Health Foundation in partnership with Public Health – Seattle & King County is offering free immunization clinics this month. The clinics will include pertussis (whooping cough) vaccines for adults without access to affordable health care. Adults should bring their immunization records to the events. - Seattle Solar Tour Kickoff Presentation at Ballard Library (5614 22nd Ave NW) from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. In celebration of the last day of summer, solar energy will be on display in neighborhoods across Seattle. The Seattle Solar Tour will feature homeowners who have installed rooftop solar electric systems, solar hot water systems, and other energy saving features, as well as electric vehicles.
