El Borracho Taqueria y Cantina applies for sidewalk permit for upcoming Ballard location

El Borracho Taqueria y Cantina will soon be opening a second location in Ballard in the former Field House space at 5465 Leary Ave. NW, and they’ve just applied for a sidewalk permit. El Borracho has been open for a year in the Pike Place Market, and according to Seattle Eater, it will be open in November.

Eater reports that the owner, Kittie Davidovich says new location will have the same a la carte menu (with 16 different tacos, including duck, rabbit and lamb) and their $1 taco happy hour (5-7 pm daily) and $4 margaritas. But, according to Davidovich, We’re a bar first and foremost. It’s called El Borracho (The Drunk) for a reason,” as she told Eater.

We’ll update with more information when it gets closer to their opening date.
