Yozen, Ballard’s only self-serve frozen yoghurt store, appears to have closed. The My Ballard team stopped by this afternoon after receiving multiple emails from My Ballard readers telling us that the store, located at 2038 NW Market Street, had its windows covered and was not in operation.
On our visit this afternoon the Ballard favourite (pictured above) did appear closed and had no sign on the door indicating the reason for the closure. We then put in a call to the owners but are yet to hear back.
The many Yozen fans in the neighborhood are sure to be disappointed if the closure is permanent. We will keep readers updated when more information is known.
