Parking restrictions in Crown Hill on Friday for street sweeping

The Seattle Department of Transportation will be restricting parking in some parts of Crown Hill and Greenwood tomorrow (Friday) as crews sweep streets that were recently chip sealed. The sweeping will take place at NW 100th St. between Greenwood Ave N and 3rd Ave NW and on 1st Ave NW between NW 85th and NW 100th St.

SDOT says that if “No Parking” signs have been posted where you normally park, you’ll need to remove your vehicles so the sweeping can be done. “Because this operation cannot be efficiently or safely carried out around parked cars, vehicles found in violation of the parking restrictions must be towed,” SDOT warns. Any questions about the sweeping can be directed to Susan Almachar, Chip Seal Project Manager, at 206-684-5303, or at susan.almachar@seattle.gov.
