  • Beekeeping 101: Beginning Your Apiary at Swanson’s Nursery (9710 15th Ave NW) from 10 a.m. For people intent on raising bees, this seminar shows how to start your hive with confidence. Corky Luster, apiarist and founder of the Ballard Bee Company, uses a a demo hive and mock-bee package as he demonstrates how to install bee packages and perform basic bee inspections.   • Pub Crawl for Multiple Sclerosis in Ballard. Join a fun, community driven fundraising event for multiple sclerosis. This is the 4th year Ballard is hosting this event!   • St. Pat’s Eve Revels and Reflections – Ballard Food Bank Benefit at Hale’s Palladium (4301 Leary Way NW) at 6:30 p.m. A family-friendly, all ages, all welcome event. Hosted by Seattle Jim Page and Ron W. Bailey, with performances by Seattle Labor Chorus, Annette Taborn, Tom Creegan, Rose McAleese and lots more performing Celtic inspired music and poetry. Money raised benefits Ballard Food Bank. Tickets cost $10.
