Turn & Burn Kickboxing program kicks off in Ballard this week

Sensei Jordan from Fighting Chance Seattle is launching a new kickboxing program specifically aimed at locals who work in the food and beverage service industry. The Turn & Burn Kickboxing program will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

The program is set to focus on physical conditioning, strength and posture improvement, as well as to relieve stress and reduce common pains. It also aims to assist participants in learning the physical and mental discipline required for staying centered during long shifts in the kitchen, behind the bar, or on the floor

Before establishing Fighting Chance Seattle, Sensei Jordan was a long-time server and bartender, and understands first-hand the toll that these jobs can take on a person’s mind and body.

“Turn & Burn is specifically designed to give back and empower those in the food and beverage service community whose time is spent serving others,” says Jordan.

The program costs $135 per month, with 15% off with industry discount (Class 12, Food Handlers Card or Liquor Permit required).

The program is launching this week with two free classes on March 25 & 27, register at Eventbrite to participate.
