Senior Services offers estate planning assistance to local seniors

Local seniors who have questions about estate planning including wills, powers of attorney and health care directives can receive guidance from the Senior Rights Assistance Program. Senior Rights Assistance is a program of Senior Services and is sponsored by the City of Seattle’s Mayor’s Office of Senior Citizens.

The program provides trained volunteers to assist with information about:

  • Estate planning
  • Guardianship
  • Landlord/tenant concerns
  • Elder law attorney referrals

The Senior Rights Assistance Volunteer sees clients by appointment every Wednesdays.

To make an appointment with a Senior Rights Assistance volunteer at the Mayor’s Office for Senior Citizens, call (206) 684-0500, or e-mail seniors@seattle.gov.
