With Seattle Public Schools finishing up the 2013-14 school year earlier today, many parents may still be wondering just how to keep their children occupied over the summer.

The Ballard Boys & Girls Club (1767 NW 64th St) is offering a fun, safe option for kids, announcing that they still have spaces remaining in their 20 week-long summer sports camps. Offerings include co-ed Mini-All Sport (June 23-27), Mini-Soccer (July 7-11), Mini-Basketball (July 28-August 1), and Mini-Baseball (August 11-15), camps for kids in kindergarten through second grade, each for $105 per week. Those camps will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

For kids ages 7 to 12, boys (August 4-8) and girls (August 18-22) basketball camps, along with co-ed baseball (throughout July and August) and all-sport (throughout August) camps will be offered. All-sport camps will include soccer, basketball, flag football, volleyball, relay races, and other activities. Each camp runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and costs $165 per week.

Extended morning and afternoon care is also being offered with the camp, for an extra $40 per week, or $100 per week for mini-sports.
