A Capitol Hill speciality running and walking store, owned by a pair of Ballard residents, will be hosting four “pub runs” over the next four weeks, including two in Ballard.

Fleet Feet Sports (911 E Pine St), run by Ballardites Andrea and Brian Morrison, is hosting, “Pub Runs: The Summer Tour” as a way to get know local breweries around Seattle.

This Thursday evening, beginning at 6:30 p.m., runners will meet at the Peddler Brewing Company (1514 NW Leary Way), before running three miles along this course that starts and ends at the brewery. Afterwards, participants can enjoy some locally crafted brews for their efforts. Organizers emphasize that runners of all paces are welcome to join in.

On July 31, runners will meet at Populuxe Brewing Company (826 NW 49th St, #B) before their run. Babies in strollers are also welcome for the Populuxe event. The course for that run has not yet been published.

A pair of other pub runs outside Ballard will be held on July 24 at Spinnaker Bay Brewing in Hillman City, and on August 7 at Fleet Feet Sports, where participants will enjoy brews from Elysian Brewing.
