The right lane of southbound 15th Avenue Northwest was blocked for a time early Thursday morning at Northwest 56th Street after an incident involving a King County Metro bus and a dump truck.
At approximately 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, the Route 15 Express, which connects Ballard to Downtown Seattle, was traveling down 15th Avenue Northwest when it was sideswiped by a dump truck that was also moving southbound, and was attempting to turn onto Northwest 56th Street.
According to the Seattle Fire Department’s Real-Time 911 dispatch, no emergency units were sent to the scene.
