A24 Films has released the first trailer for Seattle-based Director Lynn Shelton’s new film, “Laggies,” set for release October 24.
The movie, which stars Keira Knightley as a 28-year-old who hides out in the home of her 16-year-old friend and her father (played by Sam Rockwell) as she tries to sort out her life after receiving a marriage proposal, was filmed in Seattle last June and July.
My Ballard checked out one filming location last June in Olympic Manor, at a home at the corner of 90th Street Northwest and Northwest 23rd Street. In September, a helicopter conducted fly overs to get scenic shots of the neighborhood.
The film, which had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January, also features Chloe Grace Moretz, Ellie Kemper, and Jeff Garlin.
