Development Update October 16: Rezones and subdivisions

A rezone application, a subdivision application and a subdivision approval make up this week’s development update from the City of Seattle’s Department of Planning and Development (DPD) as posted in the Land Use Information Bulletin. No other applications, appeals, decisions, or notifications in Ballard were made this week

Applications:

1401 NW 46th St

A Council Land Use Action has been submitted to Rezone 168,069 sq. ft. of land from IG2-U (Industrial General) to IC-65 (Industrial Commercial). Site is bounded on the north by NW 46th Street, on the east by 14th Ave NW, on the south by NW 45th St and on the west by 15th Ave NW. Comments about the application may be submitted until October 29.

A Land Use Application has been submitted to subdivide one development site into four unit lots. The construction of residential units are under #6412068. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots. Existing structures to be removed.

Decision:

2216 NW 63rd St

A Land Use Application has been approved to subdivide one development site into two unit lots. The construction of residential units are under Project #6393661. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots. Appeals of all above decisions must be received by the Hearing Examiner no later than October 30, 2014.
