Saturday, January 10

  • Unleash Your Orchid-mania at Swansons Nursery (9701 15th Ave NW) from 10 a.m. Swansons’ own orchid aficionado, James Sigala, will share his expertise with these surprisingly easy to grow plants. Cost is free.
  • Lil’ Dribblers Basketball Skills Class Winter Program at Ballard Boys & Girls Club (1767 NW 64th St) every Saturday through March 1. Students 5 – 9 years welcome. Click here to learn more and register.
  • Benefit Concert featuring world renowned concert organist Felix Hell at St. Alphonsus Church (5816 15th Ave NW) at 7 p.m. Felix Hell, world-renowned concert organist, will perform on St. Alphonsus Church’s historic Fritts-Richards organ. Tickets available online or at the door. Cost is $20 Adult, $10 Student/Senior.

  • Ballard Farmers Market along Ballard Ave from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Click here to see this week’s specials.
  • Terrarium Workshop at Swansons Nursery (9701 15th Ave NW) from 11 a.m. A selection of containers and plants will be available for purchase, or bring your own container from home. Class is limited to 12 adults. The $20 fee covers instruction and the foundational elements of soil, sand, charcoal, gravel, and moss. Call (206) 782-2543 to register for the class.
