Ballard band The Bitter Roots released its latest music video today for their track entitled Fast and Slow. The video was shot in Ballard and is the latest single for the band that formed in our neighborhood in 2008.
The Bitter Roots comprises of musicians Jeff Stetson and Ben Koostra who formed the group back in 2008 when the two long time friends reconnected in Seattle.
Fast and Slow is the first single on the band’s latest album which is set to be released on March 3. The album was recorded in the neighborhood and then mixed at Studio Litho in Fremont with Floyd Reitsma.
“Fast and Slow is about making the time to do what you love to do and never giving up on your dreams no matter what,” says Stetson.
The Bitter Roots will host a CD release show at the Skylark in West Seattle on Friday, March 13.
