According to a Washington’s Most Wanted report, burglars broke into a Ballard home and while stealing precious items also injured the family dog, Lilo.

SPD detectives are now looking for the suspects, a couple who were caught on camera using the victim’s credit card on a shopping spree in Lynwood, Shoreline and Edmonds.

On the day of the burglary the Ballard woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, returned home to find her back door smashed in and her dog unable to walk.

“She got injured somehow so the only things I can think of is that they either kicked the door and it hit her or they kicked her at some point,” the victim told Washington’s Most Wanted.

The burglars stole computers, an iPod, an iPad and a jewelry box filled with precious mementos (including a 1930s/40s charm bracelet and a locket the victim had on her wedding bouquet).

In the security camera footage the woman is seen wearing a red hat and the man is wearing a Seahawks cap.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of either suspect. If you know information call Crime Stoppers at 1800-222-TIPS or the SPD North Precinct at ‪(206) 684-0850‬.
