Adams Elementary is the winner of the first Ballard Elementary School Art Contest hosted by Li’l Woody’s in Ballard. The elementary school received the most votes of the three Ballard-area elementary schools who submitted art for the contest, “L’il Woody’s Loves the Kids,” the voting for which ran May 9-23.
As winners, the elementary school gets to create the “Burger Special of the Week,” as well as taking home a Dakota Art Store gift card. The school chose the ingredients for the burger, which features macaroni and cheese, bacon and ketchup, with a kid-sized bag of gummy bears on the side. The special burger will be available June 9-15 at their locations in Ballard (2040 NW Market St) and Capitol Hill (1211 Pine St). All proceeds from the “Adams Eagle Burger” will benefit the school’s art program.
