Recycle your electronics, metals, and clothes this weekend

On Saturday, June 13, Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church (2400 NW 85th Street) is hosting a free recycling for all electronics, metals, clothing and styrofoam. The event will run 9 am to 3 p.m.

“Get all of that unwanted stuff out of your garage and closets and keep it OUT of the landfill,” Our Redeemer’s writes. They’ll be taking electronics such as computers, laptops, monitors (CRT, LCD), printers/scanners, fax/copy machines, ink cartridges, keyboards/mice , servers/routers/hubs, networking devices, communications equipment, BBQs, televisions, VCRs, DVD players, stereos & audio components, phones/cell phones, PDAs, handheld games, cameras, batteries (rechargeable only), miscellaneous electronics, washers/dryers, and ovens/stoves.

They’ll recycle clothing, which they will collect and donate to The Bridge Care Center and Mary’s Place. The church will also take styrofoam, so long as it is clean and with labels or tape removed. Packing peanuts and bubble wrap are also accepted, they tell us.

Any additional free will donations will be given to the Youth Mission Fund.

  1. With their handle and opening sides the Bira Craft The cutting and embossing machine is comparatively large. It has an innovative height control system which can adjust each project and prevent confusion from occurring during mat combinations.
