Get ready for Seafood Fest this weekend!

This Saturday, July 11th from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 11 am to 9 pm, Ballard Seafood Fest will take place off of Market Street, Ballard Ave, Leary and 22nd. The festival will offer fresh food, local beer, arts and crafts, music and events.

Extensive information on vendors and food/drink offerings can be found at seafoodfest.org. Additionally, Ballard Seafood Fest encourages attendees carrying their phones or tablets to use Seafood Fest’s interactive map.

Free music

For both weekend days, Ballard will be filled with music during Seafood Fest at the Veris Law Group PLLC and Vulcan Inc. MainStage:

Kids’ activities

Ballard Commons Park is the spot for family-friendly and free activities during the festival. These include a Seattle Police Department Precinct Picnic, boat building, and a salmon artwork project. A bouncy house and large slide will also be set up.

Festi-bowl skate competition

Skaters and fans alike are welcome to the largest regional, all-ages skate competition happening in Seattle this year at Seafood Fest. The event is Saturday only, and times are subject to change based on participation.

Registration begins at 11 a.m. At 1 p.m. a slalom event takes place, at 5 p.m. a 12-and-under competition. The Women’s Division follows at 5 p.m. with an open contest around 6:30 p.m.

Free clinics and lessons from Skate Like a Girl occur at noon and 3 p.m.
