The 12th Annual Sustainable Ballard Festival is hoped to be the biggest yet. The date is set for a ways out– Saturday, September 19th– but the planning begins today, July 15 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Stoup Brewing (1108 NW 52nd Street).
Sustainable Ballard says they’ll bring freshness to the festival this year by hosting a Garden-themed Party and partnering with Seattle Summer Parkways to offer inter-neighborhood 7-mile bike path with activities along the way. As always, hands-on workshops will be provided, as will educational displays, interactive activities, live music, local food and active exhibitors.
All ideas are welcome to the preliminary meeting, and anyone interested is welcome to attend. If you can’t make this planning session, but wish to keep updated on festival planning, contact Howard to get on the email list.
