This Thursday, Sept. 24 is the Norwegian Commercial Club‘s meeting with featured speaker and Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient Air Force Lt. Col. Joe Jackson. There will be a social hour at 6 p.m. and dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Leif Erikson Lodge (2245 NW 57th St.). The presentation will start at 7:30 p.m. followed by a business meeting at 8:15.
On the menu will be roast pork, blue cheese potatoes, peas, yellow pea soup and dessert. The organizers ask that reservations be made by tomorrow (Sept. 23) by calling the Leif Erikson Lodge at 206-783-1274. The cost is $25 for members with reservations, or $30 for members without reservations and all non-members.
