A new food truck, Anchor End Pretzel Shoppe has recently been opened by two Ballardites. It was started by 26-year old twin sisters, Amanda and Jessica. Their food is cooked and served out of their 1969 Shasta pull trailer.

They craft all sandwiches around their homemade soft pretzels. They offer gluten free buns made from scratch, vegan, and vegetarian options. Anchor End Pretzel Shoppe house roasts all meats and put lots of love into their veggie patties, made from; garbanzos, zucchini, carrot, green chilis, onion, oats, flax egg-instead of real egg, paprika, and other spices).

They also support multiple Seattle businesses including Better Meats in Greenwood, Anchorhead Coffee, and Farmbox Greens.
