FRIDAY, December 11:

  • Aquavit Skål! Scandinavian Spirits opens at Nordic Heritage Museum (3014 NW 67th St). Exhibit runs through February 28, 2016
  • Ballard High School Boys Basketball Team at Ballard High School Gym (1418 NW 65th St) opens their home schedule vs. Franklin HS Quakers team at 7pm.  Ezell’s Famous Chicken will have their food truck at the BHS gym from 4:30-8pm, with $1 from every purchase going back to support the program.
  • ARC Dance presents Nutcracker Sweets. Various showtimes, view here for times and tickets

    • The Maldoggies Family Christmas! The Moondoggies and the Maldives, 9pm, $18 at Tractor Tavern (5213 Ballard Ave NW)
    • 7pm – Holiday Swing with Chip Parker (vocals) – with Steve Rice (piano), Dan O’Brien (bass) and D’Vonne Lewis (drums) ($10 cover)
      9pm – Blues Christmas Show with Mary McPage and the Susan Carr Ensemble ($10 cover)at Egan’s Ballard Jam House (1707 NW Market St)
    • The Hoot Hoots, The Weather Machine, Lonely Mountain Lovers, 9pm, $10 at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave. NW)

SATURDAY, December 12:

  • Ballard Art Walk 6pm-9pm, various venues
  • The Market Singers present: Mysteries and Miracles at Ballard First Lutheran Church (NW 65th St. and 20th Ave NW). Plenty of live music and Christmas spirit. Cost: free and everyone is welcome

    • Hammerschlaggen, The JV, and Def Leprechaun, 9pm, $8 at Conor Byrne Pub (5140 Ballard Ave NW)
    • 7pm – Overton Berry Ensemble- with Rick Spano (drums), Jeff Davies (bass) and guest artists Bernie Jacobs (flute/sax/vocals) and Jennifer Hopper (vocals) ($15 cover/$25 both shows) NOTE: We are not accepting any more reservations for this show
      9pm – Overton Berry Ensemble (Second Show) ($15 cover) NOTE: We are not accepting any more reservations for this show at Egan’s Ballard Jam House (1707 NW Market St).
