    • Young In The City, Chris Staples Band and Silver Torches at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) at 9 p.m. Tickets $10.
    • Sweetkiss Momma, Jessica Lynne and The Cousins, Sightseer at Conor Byrne Pub (5140 Ballard Ave NW) at 8 p.m. Tickets $8.

SATURDAY, January 9

  • Kids Art and Craft Class at Ballard Elks (6411 Seaview Ave NW) from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Cost is $5, open to members and guests.
  • Flora Metamorphicae gallery talk at the Nordic Heritage Museum (3014 NW 67th St) at 2 p.m. Join two of the participating ceramists; Kari Aasen, and Eli Veim for a gallery talk on Flora Metamorphicae, an artistic exploration project where flower-like ceramic objects interact with different spaces, from the seashore to different galleries.
  • Intro to Yoga Workshop at Kula Movement Center (5340 Ballard Ave NW) from 2 – 5 p.m. This semi-private workshop will bring more understanding, awareness and catering to your needs. Cost is $45, preregistration required online or by phone at (206) 972-2999.

SUNDAY, January 10

  • NFL Playoff Event at Substation (645 NW 45th St) from 1 p.m. Enjoy a full day of Wildcard Football action shown in glorious HD. Bring your lawn chairs and some snacks and enjoy some great music presented by Jim Marcotte & The Breakthrough.
  • NFL Playoff at Kangaroo and Kiwi (2026 NW Market St) open from 9 a.m. with full brunch menu.
