BHS receives hoax “robo-call”, all students safe

A Seattle Public Schools spokesperson confirmed that five high schools, including Ballard High, received what Seattle Police is calling a hoax “robo-call” this afternoon.

The other schools involved were Roosevelt, Ingraham, Nathan Hale and Garfield.

Seattle Public Schools confirms that all of the schools aside from Nathan Hale were already out for the day when the calls were received.

SPD officers responded immediately to each location to investigate, no students were involved and no injuries were reported.

At this stage, all after-school activities will continue as usual and the SPD is continuing to investigate.
