12:45 p.m.:
Cars are currently in the middle of the intersection of 24th Ave NW and NW Market St after a multi-vehicle accident that happened within the last half hour.
My Ballard reader Jessica emailed in to report the news.
“Looks like a three car accident on 24th with an overturned Pick Up truck. Traffic is blocked on 24th with Emergency Vehicles. The driver of the car was sitting upright when the paramedics were checking him out,” writes Jessica.
At this stage, drivers are advised to avoid the area and take alternative routes.
