Development Update April 28: Subdivisions, pier replacement and a 6-story congregate residence building

Here is today’s update from the City of Seattle’s Department of Construction and Inspections as posted in the Land Use Information Bulletin.

Applications:

3400 NW Market St

A Land Use Application has been submitted to subdivide one development site into three unit lots. The construction of residential units is under Project #6485885. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots.

2216 NW 64th St

A Land Use Application has been submitted to subdivide one parcel of land into two parcels of land. Proposed sizes are: A) 1,601 sq. ft. and B) 3,398 sq. ft. Existing structures to be demolished.

Decision:

4315 11th Ave NW

A Shoreline Substantial Development Application has been approved to replace existing 2,664 sq. ft. pier and 62 timber piles and install 65 steel piles, an 851 sq. ft. float, a 44 ft. long grated ramp, and a new 3,170 sq. ft. concrete pier.

Appeals of this decision must be received by the Hearing Examiner no later than 5/19/2016.

Notice of Administrative Design Review:

1514 NW 52nd St

The proposal is for a 6-story congregate residence building containing 61 sleeping rooms. Existing structure to be demolished.

The Director will accept written comments to assist in the preparation of the early design guidance through May 11, 2016. Locals are invited to offer comments regarding important site planning and design issues, which you believe, should be addressed in the design for this project.
