Magnolia Library offers drop in art classes for kids

Magnolia Library (2801 34th Ave W) is offering free drop-in art classes every Thursday for six weeks from May 5 through June 9.

The classes are tailored to 2nd-5th grade students and meets from 4 p.m. -5:30 p.m. in the evening on class days.

Some of the art projects will include:

  • Galaxy Jars
  • Soap Making
  • Painting of all sorts (with water guns on a hot day perhaps)
  • Drawing
  • Flip Books

With Ballard Library’s temporary two-month closure starting on May 9, the My Ballard team will continue to feature events at libraries around the area for both adults and children.
