FRIDAY, May 20

  • Family Happy Hour Series at Populuxe Brewing (826 NW 49th St) from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Join the team for the first of their Family Happy Hour Series. The event includes Dizzy’s Tumblebus, pizza, ice cream and more.
  • BHS Student Directed One Act Plays at Ballard High School (1418 NW 65th St) at 7:30 p.m. The performance comprises of four plays including Sure Thing, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Diversions and Scribe’s Paradox. Tickets are $15 for Adults and $10 for Students/Seniors. Advance tickets are available online.

    • Dysfunction Junction at Peddler Brewing Co (1514 NW Leary Way) from 7:30 p.m.- 10 p.m. No cover, all ages.

SATURDAY, May 21

  • BHS Student Directed One Act Plays at Ballard High School (1418 NW 65th St) at 7:30 p.m. The performance comprises of four plays including Sure Thing, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Diversions and Scribe’s Paradox.   • Market Street Singers Sweet 16 Concert at Ballard Church (NW 65th and 20th NW) at 7:30 p.m.  The Market Street Singers celebrate Spring 2016 with a musical program that is both exciting and diverse. Concert is free.
  • Pura Vita Yoga Trance Dance at Kula Movement Center (5340 Ballard Ave NW) from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Their ceremony invokes the elements, our primordial ancestors. Rhythms awaken body, mind, and soul. Cost is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Register online or call (206) 972-2999.
  • MAX: Magnolia Art Experience Open House at Magnolia United Church of Christ (3555 West McGraw St) from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Board members will share the vision and upcoming workshops/classes at this free evening of arts expressions, silent auction, food, and local wines for adults. RSVP via Brown Paper Tickets.
  • Moomins on the Riviera screening at the Nordic Heritage Museum (3014 NW 67th St) from 1 p.m. Appropriate for ages 6+. Cost is $6 Nordic Heritage Museum and Film Forum Members/$11 General Admission/$8 Student, Senior, Child (12 and under).
  • World Fish Migration Day Celebrations at Ballard Locks from noon – 3 p.m. Festivities include mural painting, interactive learning activities about fish passage, the salmon life cycle and more.
  • Greyhound Meet and Greet at All the Best Pet Care (1909 NW Market St) from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Join us to meet retired racing greyhounds, learn about adoption, volunteer opportunities and more.

    • Market Street Singers Sweet 16 Concert at Ballard Church (NW 65th and 20th NW) at 3 p.m.  The Market Street Singers celebrate Spring 2016 with a musical program that is both exciting and diverse. Concert is free.
    • Yoga Sound Bath at Kula Movement Center (5340 Ballard Ave NW) from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Join the team for a special evening of restorative yoga, therapeutic sound and energy healing. Cost is $30 in advance and $35 at the foor. Register online or call (206) 972-2999.
