Ballard Venturing Crew 100, the local co-ed Scouting program, is hosting an Open House recruiting event this Thursday, June 16, at 7 p.m.
The Crew is recruiting young men and women ages 14 – 20 for fun and adventures in the great Northwest.
Through their involvement in the group, local youth have the opportunity to learn important technical and leadership skills, make new, life-long friendships, and develop a healthy appreciation for their community.
Attendees will have the chance to check out the upcoming adventures including a Mt Adams climb, overnight at Pilchuck Lookout, and a hike to Camp Muir.
No previous scouting experience is necessary to join the Crew.
The event will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church (6512 23rd Ave NW).
