  • Park in the Heart childrens Art Classes at Ballard Commons Park (5701 22nd Ave NW) from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The classes will allow children to experiment with color and each week will have a new theme. All are welcome and the event is free.
  • Sneak Peek at the ARC Dance Space (9250 14th Ave NW) from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. The public is welcome to join the professional dance company members as they work with the choreographer. The cost is $5 at the door.

    • Ballard History Walk from 10 a.m. – 11:45 p.m. meet at Bergen Place Park (5420 22nd Ave NW). Learn about banks, boarding houses and brothels on Ballard Ave. Cost is $15 per person. Call or text 206-504-0916 to reserve your spot.
    • Greyhound Meet and Greet at All the Best Pet Care (1909 NW Market St) from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Join us to meet retired racing greyhounds, learn about adoption, volunteer opportunities and more.
    • Trip’s Trunk Show Extravaganza at Hotel Albatross (2319 NW Market St) from 12 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Sip Mimosas in a coconut on the patio while eating the best brunch in Ballard. Enjoy a curated collection of artists and vintage vendors to browse and shop their one of a kind creations. 21+ and free entry!
    • Naked Cyclists Ride through Ballard to Fremont Solstice Parade from 2 p.m. along Ballard Ave, Market St and 15th Ave NW. 1500 cyclists will ride towards Leary and into Fremont for the Summer Solstice parade.
    • A Summer Solstice Yoga Celebration at Kula Movement Center (5340 Ballard Ave NW) from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Yoga asana and the Radiance Sutras form the foundation of this workshop that explores the healing aspect of play. Cost is $40 pre-register/$45 at the door.     • Nia Class benefit for Orlando Victims at The Ballard Health and Wellness Center (1138 NW Market St) from 7:30 p.m. Entry by donation. All funds generated will be donated to the “Go Orlando” fund created by the Mayor of Orlando.

      • Open mic at Conor Byrne Pub (5140 Ballard Ave NW) sign-up at 7:30 p.m.
      • Morgan Delt, Froth and Killer Ghost at the Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) at 8 p.m. Tickets $10.
