FRIDAY, July 8

  • Park in the Heart childrens Art Classes at Ballard Commons Park (5701 22nd Ave NW) from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The classes will allow children to experiment with color and each week will have a new theme. All are welcome and the event is free.
  • Growing Ballard – Bringing in Ballard Event at Sunset Hill Community Center (3003 NW 66th St) from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Celebrate gardens and gardening with your Ballard neighbors! Live music, potluck, crafts for the kids, gardening resources, and a free plant give-away!
  • Live Music
    • Big Thief, Luke Temple (Here We Go Magic) and Iji at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) 9 p.m. Tickets $12.

SATURDAY, July 9

  • Ballard SeafoodFest off of Market Street, Ballard Ave, Leary and 22nd from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Seafood, fun, events and live music for the whole family.
  • Ballard History Walk from 10 a.m. – 11:45 p.m. meet at Bergen Place Park (5420 22nd Ave NW). When did Ballard’s “Nordic Invasion” happen & why? Join an interactive fun Ballard history walk with a knowledgeable guide! Cost is $15 per person. Call or text (206) 504-0916 to reserve your spot.
  • Wallingford Family Parade (along 45th St N) from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. A family friendly event with plenty to do for the whole family.
  • Pre-Natal Yoga Class at Ballard Health and Wellness Center(1138 NW Market St) at 10 a.m. Class led by Nico Lund. Cost is $14, bring a yoga mat.
  • Live Music
    • The Meices, Guns of Nevada and The Navins at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) 9 p.m. Tickets $10.
    • Chris McCarthy Trio at Egan’s Ballard Jam House (1707 NW Market St) 7 p.m. $10 cover/$5 students.

SUNDAY, July 10

  • Ballard Farmer’s Market along Ballard Ave from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
  • Ballard SeafoodFest off of Market Street, Ballard Ave, Leary and 22nd from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Seafood, fun, events and live music for the whole family.
  • Zumba Class at Ballard Elks (6411 Seaview Ave NW) from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. $5 suggested donation, all funds raised go to Ballard Elks charities. Classes are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month.
  • Live Music
    • Open mic at Conor Byrne Pub (5140 Ballard Ave NW) sign-up at 7:30 p.m.
    • Katie Blackstock’s B-Day Bash featuringStrugglers (Danzig cover) and Pink Parts at 8:30 p.m. Tickets $8.
