In preparation for the new school year, Ballard Food Bank (5130 Leary Ave NW) is encouraging locals to donate school supplies to assist local young people in need.
All school supplies are needed including notebooks, pencils, crayons, paper and more.
Donation hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Fridays 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
