It is hard to belive that popular Ballard watering hole King’s Hardware (5225 Ballard Ave NW) is turning ten years old next month!
The team will be celebrating the occasion next Wednesday, September 7, from open to close.
“Although it seems like just yesterday we started pouring frosty cold pitchers in this former hardware store on Ballard Ave., we are proud to be celebrating a decade of beers with friends, burgers and wings, Skeeball tournaments, taxidermy, and the raddest patio this side of the Ballard Bridge,” says the King’s team.
The festivities will include slushies, bottled cocktails, PBR all day and a special performance by Pete Quirk of the Cave Singers at 8 p.m.
“By our calculations, we’ve served just shy of 1,000,000 tall boys in our first decade… Come by, raise your can in the sky, and let’s all say cheers to another ten years,” says the team.
