Ballard Library invites local teens to check out remodeled space

The team at Ballard Library is inviting all local middle and high school students to drop in and check out their newly remodeled Teen Area.

There are plenty of comfortable swivel chairs, free monthly programs, gaming and more.

Check out a list of upcoming events below:

  • Gaming Night on Friday, September 9, from 3 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Featuring X-box, Wii, board games and snacks.
  • Teen Space on Sunday, September 11, from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. This month Ian Dobson will give a Bucket Drumming
  • Talk About Whatever (books, computer games, movies, you name it) with snacks on Tuesday, September 20, from 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.

  1. I think it’s much more interesting for those same teenagers to participate in various cybersport competitions. There you can even earn money for playing games, and very good money. But it’s an extremely exhausting profession, especially psychologically, I already know from experience, so I can warn young people that here if something needs to go and still go to a psychologist and monitor your psychological health, especially if you play at the pro level.
