The talented team from Ballard High School Performing Arts will be presenting the score from the musical Rent on Thursday, December 1, and Saturday, December 3.

In what promises to be an outstanding musical evening, local actor/singers Melissa Backstrom, EJ Ekello, Savana Masako Smith, and Marshall Link join alumni Aisha Carpenter and Gustavo Gutierrez, director Shawn Riley and Senior Diego Roberts Buceta in singing the key roles.

The entire BHS thespian troupe will perform in the ensemble with some props, great lighting and fantastic singing.

Proceeds from the events will go to Lifelong, a local non-profit that is making a real difference in our community for those fighting AIDS, and also will support the LED theatre lighting conversion at Ballard High School

Tickets are $25 ($20 for students/seniors) and are available both online and at the door.

Performances will be held on both nights at 7:30 p.m. in the Earl Kelly Performing Arts Center at 1418 NW 65th St.
