The annual Boy Scout Troop 100 Christmas trees lot (open in the parking lot of St. Alphonsus Church at 5816 15th Ave NW) is set to open at 3 p.m. this Saturday, November 26.
The Christmas tree lot is the Troop’s only annual fundraiser and holds a special place in the Ballard community after being held here for nearly 60 years.
2016 marks Troop 100’s Diamond Jubilee and the Troop is making plans for a gala involving current and past Troop families that will take place some time in 2017.
2016 tree species will include:
- Noble Fir
- Nordmann Fir
- Grand Fir
- Douglas Sheared
- Natural Douglas
- Fraser Fir
- Norway Spruce
- Their famed “Charlie Brown” Christmas Trees
After the opening on Saturday, the Christmas Tree lot will be open Monday – Friday from 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
