There are reports of a 911 outage with Comcast customers in Western Washington and Spokane, including here in King County.
This outage impacts customers who use landline phones that are connected to the internet.
Locals who are affected are advised to use cell phones when calling 911 until further notice.
The Washington Emergency Management division confirmed that the following counties are affected:
- Clark County
- Cowlitz County
- Grays Harbor County
- Island County
- King County
- Lewis County
- Mason County
- Pacific County
- Pierce County
- Skagit County
- Snohomish County
- Spokane County
- Stevens County
- Thurston County
- Whatcom County
