Locals are invited to participate in the 1st annual Running of the Beavers fun run/walk on Sunday, April 1. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Ballard High School Foundation.
The run will start and finish at beautiful Golden Gardens Park along the Ballard waterfront. Participants will enjoy stunning views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains on this fast, flat course. The finish will take participants right by the famous Beaver Pond at Golden Gardens.
Day of Race Registration and Packet Pick-up will open at 7:30 a.m. with the 5km run/walk kicking off at 9 a.m. There will also be a Kids’ Dash that starts at 10:30 a.m.
Locals can register for the event online. Registration is $40 for adults through March 29, $20 for students and Kids’ Dash participants can register for $10.
