SATURDAY, April 29

  • LGBTQ Seniors Resource Fair at Northgate Community Center (10510 5th Ave NE) from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Green Lake Food Walk from 12:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. all over the Green Lake neighborhood. The event is a take on a familiar concept of an “art walk”, but with special emphasis on food. Tickets $15 adults/$10 children.
  • Live Music
    • Dorothy Rodes, 7 p.m., and Taylor Zickefoose, 9 p.m.at Egan’s Ballard Jam House (1707 NW Market St). Cover $10. Click here to purchase tickets online.
    • T Sisters, The Local Strangers , Ben Hunter and Joe Seamons at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) 9 p.m. Tickets $12.

SUNDAY, April 30

  • Ballard Farmer’s Market along Ballard Ave from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
  • Sunday Morning Meditation at Amazing Grace Spiritual Center (2007 NW 61st St) from 10 a.m. – 10:20 a.m.
  • 7th annual NW Green Home Tour from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Self guided tour featuring fantastic local green homes. Free event.
  • Zumba Class at Ballard Elks (6411 Seaview Ave NW) from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. $5 suggested donation, all funds raised go to Ballard Elks charities. Classes are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month.
  • Live Music
    • Open mic at Conor Byrne Pub (5140 Ballard Ave NW) sign-up at 7:30 p.m.
    • The Crocodile Presents, Porcelain Raft and Lilac at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) 9 p.m. Tickets $13.
    • Chris Pureka with Haley Heynderickx *seated show* at Tractor Tavern (5213 Ballard Ave NW) at 8 p.m. Tickets $15.
