Tonight (June 1) is Ballard High School’s annual Spring Orchestra Concert, featuring four student soloists and four concertos by the orchestra.
The concert starts at 7:30pm, with performances by the following students:
- Emmett Armstrong, string bass – Dittersdorf Bass Concerto, mvt. 1
- Alexandria Scott, violin – Mozart Violin Concerto in G, mvt. 1
- Anika Thomas, violin – Kabalevsky Violin Concerto, mvt. 1
- Maxwell Truluck, violin – Mendelssohn Violin Concerto, mvt. 3
On the bill will be the Ballard Fiddle Ensemble, Symphonic Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and guest musicians from the Ballard Band.
The concert will be held at the Earl Kelly Performing Arts Center at 1418 NW 65th St.
