“Summer is a really tough time for us when it comes to blood collection because school is on vacation and many of our donors are travelling, so we always see a decrease in participation,” Wendy Chu from Bloodworks NW tells My Ballard. “By donating blood throughout the summer, you will be helping to ensure that our community will have a safe and stable blood supply for anyone who needs it in the upcoming months.”
The blood drive will be in a mobile unit from 9am to 3pm on July 8 contact Sylvia at email@example.com. Photo ID is required, and walk-ins are welcome.
