Man hospitalized after late-night shooting at Golden Gardens

A man was sent to the hospital after a shooting at Golden Gardens late last night.

According to the Seattle Police Department, multiple witnesses called 911 just before midnight on Tuesday. When officers arrived, they were approached by a man who had been shot in the back. Seattle Fire Department medics attended to the “graze wound” on his back before taking him to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.

Police say they found 21 rifle rounds and six .380 rounds at the scene; witnesses reported a fight just before an unidentified man pulled out a rifle and began shooting. A second unidentified man pulled out a handgun and returned fire.
