Eclipse watchers head to parks for lunar viewing

It was a unifying morning for Ballard, as it was for the majority of the country.

Handfuls of families, young professionals, and solo residents started their morning the same way: by flocking to parks and outdoor viewing areas to share safe viewing glasses and homemade eclipse-viewing pinhole camera boxes. The eclipse lasted from around 9 a.m., peaking at 10:20 a.m., and concluding around 11:30 a.m.
