The northern end of 3rd Ave NW will be closed for two days this week as the Seattle Department of Transportation will be doing some grinding and paving work. The work will take place between NW 120th and NW 122nd streets on September 7 and 8 (Thursday and Friday) between 7am and 5pm, with detours starting at 9am.
SDOT says Metro buses will not be impacted, and uniformed police officers will on location to direct traffic and assist with boarding at the two stops at corners of NW 120th St and 3rd Ave which will be open, (one northbound and one southbound). Crosswalks and sidewalks will remain open, as will local access for residents.
